Gemstars Miko Korobeni - MIKO - October 26, 1998 - May 6, 2008

After a lifelong struggle with his health, we were very sad to let our beautiful boy go to the Rainbow Bridge this week. He was always the smiling shiba at the Meetups. He was not interested so much in playing with the other dogs but was crazy for you to throw a ball. You can see him in action in our Meetup Video.

He will be dearly missed by his family.

Hi Lynn,
I'm getting choked up all over again. You know you did everything you could and cherished him in his last days. Remember him well.

To Lynn and Craig

I am so sorry for your loss of your wonderful Miko. You just have to remember that you made him a great home and gave him a happy life.
I remember walking up the hill at Pat's with my brand new puppy Buddy in my arms and I knew there would be a day I would have to say good bye to him. I know that it will be a heartbreaking time -as it is for you right now.
You just have to enjoy them when they are here and treasure the memories of them once they are gone.

Thinking of you
Michele and Buddy

Miko was Smiley Boy to me at the Meetups. Always ready to have his picture taken and usually the same pose - a big grin!

When I held my very first Meetup, 10 Shibas attended. I didn't know anyone except my own Sushi, and Darianna's Bella. After the Meetup, I had to go through the photos taken and badly attempted to name all the Shibas. I think Miko was the only one that I could really remember because of his big smile.

We'll miss you Miko!

Lynn and Craig,

Words can not express our sadness for your loss. Miko will always be remembered by all who knew him.

Despite our geographical distribution, all us Shiba owners are a family. We share your sorrow and hope that if there is anything we can do to help, we will all be there.
