Ok, this was definitely the nuttiest Shiba crowd ever! I can't believe we had about 10 Shibas and their owners show up! You guys rock! lol

So, now, let's see...who came home the dirtiest...the Shibas or the owners?? I know Sushi was pretty much clean by the time we got home. Me, on the other hand, pretty much a disaster confused

Thank you everyone that came out today, Sushi and I had a lot of fun. I'm sorry we didn't stay longer, but I could tell Sushi had had enough and I was drenched.

Did anyone show up after Chiyo arrived? I'm glad some of you decided to stay longer.

In attendance:

Sloshin' Sushi
Zoomin' Kitsune
Kissy Kali
Gung-ho Gus
Yappy Yoshi
I'm Not Getting Out of the Car to Go into the Rain Toby
Fearless Foxy
Sweet Sierra
Bright-eyed Brandy
Cheery Chiyo

Also, it was nice to see new members, including potentially new Shiba owners!

Looking forward to seeing some pics from the Meetup!

Thanks everyone,
Bonnie & Sushi

We had a great time at the meetup. Good thing i wasn't wearing mascara. Thanks so much to everyone for not being scared of me with my wet hair day and soaking sweater and mucky pants. I was a site when i went into the truck!! shock
I know Kitsune and Kali had an absolute blast running in the downpours and playing with everyone. It was exactly what they needed to run and play and get down and dirty. Thanks Rob for taking all those pics. i didn't realise u had taken the camera out for THAT long....lol. It was pretty wet. Great to see all those devoted Shiba owners letting their dogs be dogs!! It was great! I love the rain pic of the cars......great pic!!

Hey Bonnie,

Great job on the Meetup. I'm so glad you kept it going because Yoshi and I had a great time.

Glad I was able to take some pictures (I almost forgot my camera). There were a few people (I'm sorry), that I didn't catch names of them or their Shiba's. Please feel free to update my captions with names of owners and their people. LOL.

Thanks again and can't wait to see everyone at the next Meetup.

Chiyo was limping her right rear leg so she didn't get to play as much... :(
Now Gus must be having sympathy pains cuz after the bath I gave him, he's limping too.

Jackie said something about knee caps popping... I'm also wondering if it could be tired muscles from all the playing at Toto and the struggling in the shower!! I hate it when pups limp, it worries me...

Kali was limping when she woke up later this evening. As it was so damp and wet and they were running really hard, it doesn't surprise me as she is a couch potato most of the time. Seems to be the trend for today.......play and then pay the price afterwards.....lol

I hope all the Shibas recover quickly! I feel bad that so many were limping!! With the grass being wet and I"m sure slippery, that probably didn't help. Please keep us posted on how they are doing, ok?

Well Gus is limping less today. Actually it was more like he wasn't even walking on that foot yesterday night, just walked on threes! Today he's walking on fours but he's not putting much weight on the limped foot. So it looks like he's getting better!!

Too bad... weather is nice today too. Guess we're staying in to rest! lol
