Welcome to the Washington Shiba Inu Meetup Group!
We are gathered here to play, sniff butts, and wag tails. Although this group is primarily for shibas (both pure & mixed) and their owners to meet up, we welcome anyone with an interest in shibas.
Meet ups span a variety of places and activity types. Locations rotate between the District, Northern VA, and Maryland. Types of activities include dog parks, day hikes, doggy happy hours, and dinner with dogs. New ideas are always welcome!
As of June 2009, this group is under new management, so the direction of this group will be a bit different from before. I plan on holding at least one event a month.

It's been a couple months since we've met up at our old stomping grounds, so let's make our November meetup at Shirlington Dog Park!!! We will meet in the small dog area, like always. I anticipate the meetup lasting for about 1 - 1.5 hours. There is plenty of water available and parking is free.
